Client Rights

Clients with Therapy Uninterrupted have the following rights:

To receive specific information about your clinician's qualifications to practice, including education, experience, areas of expertise and scope of practice, and certifications prior to obtaining services;

To obtain a copy of the code(s) of ethics your assigned clinician must follow, upon request;

To receive an explanation of services offered, time commitments, potential risks and benefits to services, fee scales, and billing policies in the form of a Consent Form prior to your Initial Intake Session;

To obtain copies of records and reports, as outlined in the Consent Form;

To have the opportunity to ask your clinician questions about their techniques, trainings, and approach in your Initial Intake Session prior to beginning ongoing therapy;

To collaboratively establish goals and treatment planning with your therapist in the Initial Intake Session;

To receive ongoing evidence-based, supportive therapy that is free from harm;
-
To have their information kept with the highest degree of confidentiality, outside of a few exceptions that will be made extremely clear both in writing in the Consent Form and verbally in the Initial Intake Session;

To terminate the therapeutic relationship at any time and for any reason; and
-
To share any concerns or complaints you may have.

Client Responsibilities
​
Therapy Uninterrupted needs the support of our clients to be able to run effectively. As such, clients have the following responsibilities:

To attend all scheduled appointments and inform your clinician as soon as possible if you are unable to make the appointment (fees may apply which will be fully explained in the Consent Form and Initial Intake Session);

To inform your clinician in your Initial Intake Session if you have received previous services, diagnoses, or other relevant information to your history that may impact your services;

To pay your invoices at the time of session using one of the payment forms possible within the Clinic;

To participate fully in each session and complete any between-session actions agreed upon with your clinician;

To inform your assigned therapist any challenges in meeting your goals;

To avoid placing your clinician or other members within the Clinic in ethical and legal dilemmas if at all avoidable; and
-
To adhere to all other policies and procedures outlined within the Consent Form.
